So, I guess I’ll be doing tv reviews from now on….tv, books, movies…everything.
What I think of Smash? Well, I’m only on episode ‘Let’s be bad’ and so far, I can deduce two things: Lots of sex and Lots of gays. Have I summarised Broadway? Just about. I really do love Tom.
I can’t help but compare this to Glee. I feel that Smash is the show in which the New Directions kids are grown up. I can picture Kurt having Tom’s career and Rachel his partner.
We’re all familiar with the intense competition in Broadway, who you sleep with determines how big a role you get etc.
So what’s so new about Smash?
Well, Nick Jonas made a great guest star. Twelve my ass.
Daniel Radcliffe’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying Broadway poster in the producer’s office.
Katherine McPhee’s amazing voice.
Rumour Has It dance.
Alan Rickman’s voice, though the Prince himself is not in the show. I have trouble hating that guy with His voice.
